The Thames Group (TGUKL) comprises of three companies, Thames Ambulance Service, Thames Ambulance Training Services and Thames Training and Development, each concentrating on its own specialisms.

Thames Ambulance Service provides clinical services ranging from Emergency response, Non-emergency Patient Transport, Bariatric Services, Cardiac Services, and Medical Event Cover.

Thames Ambulance Training Services delivers courses ranging from Health and Safety First Aid at work courses, Fire Marshall, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Ballistic Trauma, Institute of Health Care Development (IHCD) First Person on Scene, Manual Handling and Health and Safety.

Thames Training and Development delivers more specialised courses such as Business Continuity, Emergency Planning and incorporates our driving school offering IHCD Blue light training, Fleet driver training, safer driving, driver CPC, eco driving and C1 and D1 Categories.

Such courses can be delivered on your premises or at our purpose built training and development centre which includes fully equipped wards, Road Traffic Accident scenes, home and work scenarios plus classrooms, examination and assessment rooms.

Our centre has been accredited by numerous awarding bodies e.g. BTEC, NVQ, JAULPT, and the DSA. This enables our centre to deliver a broad range of training to a high standard enabling students to receive formal qualifications.
